Life Without a Destination Organization
Session Recording
Recorded 10/15/2020
Recorded 10/15/2020 Many elected officials, when presented with information on the impact of their destination organization, have replied with a terse, “But visitors would come here anyway.” In this session, you will hear about one destination that leveraged Tripadvisor’s Insights Platform to show: - the difference in impact between travelers who “came anyway” vs. those specifically targeted by the destination organization - how they turned travelers to other (competitor) destinations into “destination loyalists” for their own destination, and - the direct impact of their advertising on the restaurant and attraction categories.
